The Royal Enfield frenzy!

After much anticipation, the world-renowned motorcycle brand Royal Enfield has officially entered the Bangladeshi market. Although the current regulations limit the riding of high CC bikes on local streets, motorcycle enthusiasts will soon be able to indulge in their passion, starting today.
On Monday, Royal Enfield inaugurated its first flagship showroom in the Tejgaon area of the capital, marking a significant milestone for the brand. With prices starting at four lakh taka, the showroom aims to provide an upscale experience for its customers, offering sales, service, and support through a dedicated service center.
In September 2021, the Ministry of Home Affairs authorised the sale of bikes with engine capacities up to 350 CC in Bangladesh, prompting companies like Bajaj, Honda, Yamaha, and Royal Enfield to introduce higher CC models.
Royal Enfield, in collaboration with Ifad Autos, has taken responsibility for producing, marketing, and distributing its motorcycles in Bangladesh, with a new production unit established in Chauddagram, Cumilla—its seventh globally, alongside facilities in Nepal, Brazil, Thailand, Colombia, and Argentina.
